Course Syllabus

Our Math K-5 Book Study will have 3 face to face meetings as well as online classwork. 

October 7

• Meeting at Glen Springs Elementary 1:15 - 2:45
• BEFORE meeting, you should log into Canvas and complete the Student/Teacher Orientation Module
• The book will be handed out at meeting and we will read and discuss Chapter 1.

October 8 - November 3

• Participate in the discussion for Chapter 1
• Read Chapters 2, 3 and 4.  You will have online coursework to complete for Chapters 2 & 3.  This coursework will include uploading work and discussions.

November 4

• Meeting at Glen Springs Elementary 1:15 - 2:45
• Topic of discussion:  Chapter 4: The Look of the Lesson: Students

November 5 - December 3

• Participate in the discussion for Chapter 4
• Read Chapters 5, 6 and 7.  You will have online coursework for Chapters 5 and 6.

December 4

• Meeting at Glen Springs Elementary 1:15 - 2:45
• Discussion of Chapter 7 and wrap up for course
